I just came across this video of how to get curls without having to spend forever at the curling iron. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve seen pictures of those that have and their hair looks amazing. My hair never hold curls unless I have a helmet of hairspray on them. I hope this technique works for me. Click here to view the video on YouTube.

Novartis, the company that makes Excedrin, No-Doz,Bufferin, and Gas-X, has just issued a recall for the vast majority of these products. Excedrin and No-Doz with expiration dates of December 20, 2014 and earlier are being recalled along with Bufferin and Gas-X products with expiration dates of December 20, 2013 or earlier. I have been trying to get ahold of the company for the past hour, but to no avail. They issued the recall today so everyone is probably calling in wanting to know how to return their product. Here is an article about the recall and here is the recall information from Novartis.
Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers today. I will be having a biopsy in about an hour. Hopefully everything goes well but this is the second biopsy in 3 years so I’m not very optimistic. I also know how painful it is now so I’m already anticipating the pain.
Many things have been happening here at Cleveland Penny Pincher in the past couple of days. I have been asked to enter a blogging competition where I write about tomatoes in a creative way. Seven grand prize winners will be given a trip to the Taste of the NFL. I have been offered a free gift pack of Red Pack tomato products whether I participate or not. Right now I am thinking of holding a recipe contest and then giving the gift pack to the winner. How many people would be interested in a recipe contest or a contest where people write about creative ways to use tomatoes? Does anyone have any other ideas for creative things that I could write about regarding tomatoes?
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. It is my first year hosting Thanksgiving and the first year that I have ever been allowed to make the secret family recipes. Hopefully all goes well. If you are one of the people going out shopping on Thanksgiving day, have fun and make sure you get home in time for turkey.

There are not very many good deals at Rite Aid this week. Unless you have +Up Rewards that are going to expire I do not recommend shopping there this week.
